MLI provides leadership-related training and coaching support for WELS leadership teams, pastors, and principals.
2. What is the key belief of MLI?
Through Spirit-guided leadership development efforts, centered on Christ, MLI will help ministries with their Matthew 28 purpose through growth in leadership abilities, approaches, and attitudes, while providing vital tools for the leader’s ministry toolbox.
3. What are the key tenets of MLI training and support?
MLI has identified five tenets or pillars to guide the proven process of assisting ministries with their Matthew 28 purpose:
All training and coaching from MLI is built around these five pillars. As an individual or team begins work with MLI, the Gospel will be central to the process. Ongoing discussions will be held to identify what tools, resources, and people can best meet the needs. Participants will be expected to do work prior to the training, such as taking the StrengthsFinder assessment, reading, and identifying current issues. Time will be allotted during the training to work with real-life current issues from the specific ministry. All this will be followed by quarterly or monthly follow-up and/or coaching.
4. What are the key areas in which MLI provides training and coaching support?
A variety of leadership-related modules are currently available with more to be developed as additional needs are identified.
